Face of the Moon

Supplies:

• 3x3” sheet copper

• 8 feet of 20 gauge copper wire

• 4 feet of 18 gauge copper wire

• 2 inches of fine silver wire (use up those tiny scraps from other projects)

• 12 Czech Glass beads (for color coordination, you might want to purchase these after you have enameled your bezel)

• 20 small beads of your choice (silver beads make this piece more elegant and tie in the silver in the moon – make sure the hole will accommodate 20 gauge wire)

Tools:

• Anvil (small steel block 2” X 2” or larger)

• Chain Nose

• Bent Nose

• Round Nose

• Wire Snips/Cutters

Techniques learned in this class: 

·       Cut and dome copper

·       Fuse fine silver to metal

·       Create a no-solder bezel using the torch-fired enamel process

·       Create enameled cage beads

·       Create an enameled copper tube bead

·       Create links

·       Create a hook closure
