Driving Directions to Spring Beads
LOCATION and PARKING
Spring Beads is located north of Houston
in Old Town Spring. Old Town Spring is
just off of Interstate 45 about 10 miles
north of George Bush Intl Airport or 5
miles south of the Woodlands. Coming
from either direction on I-45, exit at
the Spring Cypress/FM-2920/Tomball exit
(exit 70A). Stay on the feeder road to
Spring Cypress Rd. Turn east on Spring
Cypress (toward the Exxon station) and
proceed about a mile and past one light.
As you enter Old Town Spring, the road
forks, with Main St. to the left and
Gentry St. to the right. Stay to the
right (Gentry). You will immediately see
a gray building with red crosses on it
called the Doll Hospital. Just after
that building, turn right into the
little driveway that leads to Creek Side
Plaza and the bead shop. We are on the
right and there is a large sign hanging
out front. The address is 421 Gentry,
Suite 202. If you have any problems
finding us, call 281-288-9116 for
assistance.
On weekends, the storefront lot may be
full. If so, there is plenty of
convenient parking nearby:
Back lot: Most available, very close,
and free except during festivals and
special events. Follow the directions
above, but keep going past the Doll
Hospital and past our driveway. Proceed
on Gentry. Pass Keith Street and begin
looking for a big red caboose on the
left. When you see the caboose, turn
right on Preston. Just as Preston makes
a sharp left turn, you turn right into a
large parking lot. Go all the way back,
toward the large yellow Winery sign. At
the far corner of the lot, you will see
our gray building. Park close to the
corner. There is a gate and a small foot
bridge that leads to the stores. We are
the third store on the left, hidden by a
tree.
Museum lot: Relatively close and easy to
find. Travel east on Spring Cypress.
Pass thru one light and enter Old Town
Spring. The road will fork with Main St.
to the left and Gentry St. to the right.
The building in the “Y” is the museum.
From either Main Street or Gentry, enter
the parking lot just past the museum.
From the parking lot and looking toward
Gentry St., you will see a tall white
CREEK SIDE PLAZA sign next to a gazebo.
Spring Beads is located in the plaza.
